- Students socialize by going to bars, dancing, parties, etc. Sporting events are common for all ages from 5 year olds to 70 year olds, so its normal to see students but not to get to know strangers there, you just go with your friends or family.
- Smoking is banned indoors everywhere. Drinking is acceptable night and day, especially beer and especially weekends. Grown people are seen as stupid if they're drunk in public.

Men ask women out. It’s not common for a woman to be very straightforward to a man but it can happen and it’s not impossible.

Men tend to very forward in asking out women. It’s acceptable to kiss on the first date but not to have sex because if so the woman is seen as very easy. If the man is really interested, he won’t want the woman to sleep with him on the first date and won’t even try.

Students must share they're notes and books to other students without hesitating. If not, they're usually seen as competitive and selfish.

Students who borrow books or notes must return them as soon as possible because if not they are considered to be bad people.
