The grading system follows the French 20 point scale, 0 being the worst and 20 being perfect. It is rare to score a 20 and one must attain at least a 10 to pass.
Teaching style depends on the subject studied. Large literature classes or history courses are generally lecture style while smaller computer classes and engineering rely on more hands-on work.
