Negotiations

Avoid hard selling tactics and any sort of conflict or confrontation.
Important decisions can take a while but simple decisions should be made on the spot. It used to be that people would talk things to death and possibly even then never reach a decision, but it is becoming more straight forward now.
At the market and some stores it is possible to negotiate but basically the price is the price. This means that you can ask for more or less, but basically, asking for less money means humiliating the seller. This doesn't mean this doesn't happen, but it is offensive to bargain someone down without a real reason.
